The simplicity of the game SCREAMS for modding-2D is very accessible compared to 3D, and the easier it is to mod, the more the community will grow. This game has a ridiculous amount of potential. If they are cool with it, how do you recommend I try and get in touch with them? ![]() If there are any languages or frameworks I am new to, that is a great chance for me to learn some new skills, but at any rate the devs will be able to inform me of the technical details required to at least answer my question. I want to learn as much as I possibly can about the internals of WNTGD, because I want to be ready to start coding right away. Software is just layers, and somewhere in the code it's just an asset path or URI, and I want to put in my own tracks it would be really cool to discuss modding with you, as you clearly have put in some time on this already. I enjoy the default classical tunes, but obviously I also want to bump Deep House and Trance while diving, so I'm going to figure out how to make it happen some way or the other. Please ask them what would be necessary to enable customization of the source of the audio track which accompanies the gramaphone music-player thingy. Hey, if you are really talking with the devs that is awesome! I have an incredibly specific request: That was some pretty arcane ♥♥♥♥, nothing compared to how easy it is becoming with modern tools. The last time I did any game modding was back when all you had for the most part were binaries and Hexedit. ![]() This game has me super exited for modding again. I like how you started on adding some AI, too. I know nothing of C#, but your codebases look impressive. ![]()
